Cristina Pena (A Coruña, Spain) started with the piano during her childhood and after trying the drums she began to feel attraction for the electric guitar when she was 14. Interested in acquiring a broad training , she started attending to classes with great guitarist like César Torres, David Gayoso… among others. A few years later she entered the Liceo La Paz conservatory, after passing the acces test to the professional degree with an outstanding grade.

In 2016 she started to work as an electric guitar teacher in music schools.
In 2017 she achieves the RSL’s higuest certification: The Rockschool L6 Performance Diploma.

Cristina released her first album in 2017 with her project “Lost Minnow”, in which she sings and plays the guitar in addiction to compose the songs. Since then, she works as a live musician with her band and for other bands too (She will rock you of ROCK FM, Cherry and the Ladies, Alba Reche of Operación Triunfo, Gato Ventura… ) Besides, she continues working as a guitar teacher, giving online and face-to- face classes.

In 2019 Thermion Amps invites her to play her music in the largest music product trade show in the world: The Namm Show in Los Angeles

During this time she reconcile the gigs and shows with her classes and video recording sessions, collaborating with artists and working with brands of the music industry.

Cristina is currently recording her next Lost Minnow album.
